In prima docet adulterium vitare, ibi: Adducunt etc.

Translation: |
For what concerns the continuation of the Gospel, yesterday the great piety of Christ was shown in the fact that he taught the ignorant Samaritan woman in such a gentle manner, today his righteousness is proclaimed, together with his mercy, in the fact that he freed the woman who sinned from her unjust accusers. And according to this, there are three parts of the present text.
In the first it is taught to avoid adultery, where it says: they bring etc.
In the second that judges must examine cases, where it says: But Jesus, bending down.
In the third to flee from sin and not to do it again, where it says: go and sin no more.
