Translation: |
On the order and conditions of the Final Judgment and on the sentence to be pronounced against the damned and the sweet calling of the elect.
However, apart from the things that were said about the future Final Judgement, it is not useless to meditate and consider what will happen on the Day of Judgment, on which we still have to discuss certain aspects. On which three mysteries we propose to elaborate:
The first concerns order: about the sequence of events of the Judgment, both in terms of location and manner; and about the way in which Christ will be seen in the fullness of His majesty by all, both the good and the evil.
The second concerns revelation: how, on the Day of Judgment, everyone's sins will be accused and exposed, and no one will be allowed to defend or excuse themselves.
The third concerns the reward: how, on the Day of Judgment, Christ will address the elect graciously and lovingly, while He will address the wicked harshly and bitterly; and how the wicked will be separated from the righteous.
