De fructuosa et utili confessione peccatorum.
Et quia hec penitentia confessionem includit, idcirco, preterea que in precedentibus dicta sunt, adhuc in hoc sermone tria mysteria ponemus contemplanda:
Primum dicitur humiliationis: quomodo peccator debet humiliter confiteri primo examinando conscientiam, secundo accusando peccata, tertio suscipiendo iniunctam sibi penitentiam a sacerdote .

Translation: |
On the fruitful and useful confession of sins.
And, since this penance includes confession, on this subject, beyond what was said before, in this sermon we propose to examine three more mysteries:
The first concerns humiliation: on how the sinner must humbly confess his sins firstly by examining his conscience, secondly by reporting his sins and finally by facing the penance imposed by the priest.
The second concerns secrecy: how confession must be secret to protect the circumstances, the confessor and the sinner.
The third concerns reiteration, since confession must be repeated when someone has confessed his sins inadequately due to his own negligence, or when he fraudulently divides confession, or when went to confession with the intention of sinning again.
