De misericordia ad proximum habenda et pia largitione elemosinarum. Quia vero hoc maxime decet penitentes, ut per elemosinarum largitiones satisfaciant pro peccatis suis, idcirco in presenti sermone de elemosina aliquam percurremus, quam Christus a samaritana poscebat dicens: 'Da mihi bibere'. De ipsa itaque elemosina tria mysteria principalia erunt declaranda: Primum dicitur inductio, quod septem sunt illa quibus inducimur ad misericordiam proximis exhibendam et ad prompte elemosinas largiendum.
