De sacro cultu dierum festorum illorumque debita veneratione.
Idcirco, in presenti sermone, pro reformatione presentium, de festis erimus tractaturi, de quibus tria mysteria principalia declarabimus:
Primum dicitur approbationis, quod usus sacrorum festorum approbatur et commendatur a gentilibus, a iudeis et a christianis.
Secundum detractionis: quare sabbatum mutatum est in dominica et cur alia festa sunt superaddita; et de peccato illorum qui festa non custodiunt.
Tertium observationis: qualiter festa servanda sunt cum devotione cordis, oris et operis, quod tamen a christianis multis non fit, imo videtur contrarium.

On the sacred celebration of feast days and on their proper veneration.
Therefore, for the benefit of those present, in this sermon we shall speak about feast days, on which we shall clarify three main mysteries:
The first concerns approval, for the celebration of sacred feasts is approved and recommended by Gentiles, Jews and Christians.
The second concerns detraction: how the Sabbath was changed to Sunday and why other feasts were added; and about the sin of those who do not observe feasts.
The third concerns observance: how feasts must be preserved with devoted heart, voice and work, even though many Christians do not do so, indeed they do the opposite.
