Translation: |
On the Holy Communion, for which all the believers must prepare themselves.
In order to break the hard hearts of those who flee from the Holy Communion, we propose to clarify this duty by speaking of three mysteries:
The first concerns obligation, since everyone is bound to the Holy Communion in memory of Christ's passion, by the precepta of the Church, and also by the intimidation of Christ.
The second concerns exclusion, about those who are excused from taking the Holy Communion once a year because of punishment or flaw; and about those who are reluctant.
The third concerns the condition: on the three conditions that must be observed especially by those who wish to piously engage in the holy sacrament.
