In primo articulo quatuor dolores:
1.1) Primi articuli dolor primus (orationis): qualiter Christus in oratione vehementer doluit propter contristationem, propter petitionem et propter confortationem.
1.2) Primi articuli dolor secundus (comprehensionis): quod in comprehensione vehementer doluit propter Iude damnationem, propter suam ligationem et propter discipulorum turbationem.
1.3) Primi articuli dolor tertius (deductionis): quod Christus vehementer doluit in deductione propter discipuli negationem, propter Anne interrogationem et propter alaphe percussionem.
1.4) Primi articuli dolor quartus (contradictionis): quod Christus vehementer doluit in contradictione propter falsam testificationem, propter publicam criminationem et propter sibi factam derisionem.
In secundo articulo quatuor:
2.1) Secundi articuli primus dolo (presentationis): quod Christus in presentatione vehementer doluit propter accusationem, propter flagellationem et propter coronationem
2.2) Secundi articuli dolor secundus (sententiationis): quod Christus in sententiatione vehementer doluit propter onerationem, propter associationem, et propter lamentationem.
2.3) Secundi articuli dolor tertius (crucifixionis): quod in crucifixione Christus vehementer doluit propter potationem, propter conclavationem et propter elevationem
2.4) Secundi articuli dolor quartus (inspectionis): quod in inspectione Christus vehementer doluit propter querelationem, propter recordationem et propter commendationem.
In tertio articulo quatuor:

On the pains, anxieties and bitterness that Jesus Christ endured during His Passion for the salvation of the whole human race.
In order to proceed systematically, we will divide today's sermon into three main sections, and in each of them, we will devoutly contemplate the four sorrows of Christ. In the first article, there are four sorrows:
1.1) First sorrow of the first article (Prayer): how Christ suffered intensely in prayer due to sadness, plea, and consolation.
1.2) Second sorrow of the first article (Capture): since He suffered greatly in His capture due to Judas' damnation, His own binding, and the disciples' confusion.
1.3) Third sorrow of the first article (Trial): since Christ suffered intensely during His trial due to the denial of His disciple (i.e. Peter), the questioning by Annas, and the slap He received.
1.4) Fourth sorrow of the first article (Opposition): since Christ suffered intensely the opposition due to false testimony, public accusations, and the derision He endured.
In the second article, there are four sorrows:
2.1) First sorrow of the second article (Presentation): since Christ suffered intensely during His presentation due to accusations, flagellation, and the crowning (with thorns).
2.2) Second sorrow of the second article (Sentencing): since Christ suffered greatly during His sentencing due to the burden (of the cross), to association (with thieves), and to lamentation (of the people).
2.3) Third sorrow of the second article (Crucifixion): since Christ suffered intensely during His crucifixion due to the drink (of wine mixed with gall), the nailing to the cross, and the raising of the cross.
2.4) Fourth Sorrow of the Second Article (Inspection): since Christ suffered intensely during His inspection due to the accusations brought against Him, the remembrance and the commendation given to Him.
In the third article, there are four sorrows:
3.1) First sorrow of the third article (Desolation): since Christ suffered intensely in His cry on the cross due to the horror of the world, His own confusion, and the feeling of abandonment by the Father.
3.2) Second sorrow of the third article (Drinking): since Christ suffered greatly during His drinking (of vinegar) because of the bitterness, the obstinacy of sinners, and the lamentation of His mother.
3.3) Third sorrow of the third article (Compassion): since Christ suffered intensely, being aware of the general scandalization, the ingratitude of the Jews and the lack of compassion from many.
3.4) Fourth sorrow of the third article (Separation): since Christ suffered greatly when He bowed His head and gave up His spirit; and on the lamentation of His mother.
