Translation: |
In this gospel, based to the matter touched upon, for our benefit, let us see how those who are not chosen by the gods will seek to obtain grace, which nevertheless they will not be able to obtain. The wretched will beg to have the door of divine grace or mercy opened to them, saying: "Lord, Lord, open to us, do not allow us, your children, your creatures, to be separated from you!". But the wretched will not obtain this grace; instead, they will hear: "Depart etc".
