In isto evangelio velud in ortulo delitiarum colligemus fructum iusta materiam superius tractam, unde diximus quod Charon erat tempus deferens animas et Cogitus fluvium honus transire. Et ideo evangelium secundum istum sensum ponit amaras pugnas quas homo habet in morte [...]. Primo ergo ponitur amara pugna quam homo habet in morte. Et dicit tria Christus. Primo: Ego vado; secundo: queritis me; tertio: ego de superius sum. Et vult ostendere in istis verbis tria que contingunt in morte cuiuslibet. Primo quia surgunt fortia et dura testimonia, quia ego vado. Secundo pauca auxilia, quia in peccato vostro moriemini, tertio modica merita nostra quia vos deorsum estis.

And Christ says three things. First: I go; second: you will look for me; third: I am from above. With these words he wants to show three things concerning anyone’s death. First, because strong and harsh witness will surge, since I go. Second, there will be few helps, since you will die in your sin; third, the scarsity of our merits, since you are from below.
