Translation: |
[f. g1r] Among other things, note that we can point to four kinds [scil. of human beings] who can obtain God's mercy, namely those who fear God; those who humbly confess their sins; those who do justice for themselves by works of penance; and those who show mercy to their neighbour.
[f. g2r] Also note that there are four kinds of human beings who, on the basis of their own merits, are unworthy of mercy, namely the lustful who chase the luxury of the flesh; the greedy and covetous who live without mercy at their neighbour's side; the proud and exalted who boast of their evils; the obstinate and undevoted who don’t want to do penance. |

The sermon doesn’t have a real divisio but consists of two equally important sections, both four-part.
