3) Tertio in penitentia satisfacientibus;

Item nota alia quattuor per que peccata dimittuntur, videlicet per veram ad deum conversionem; per iniuriarum dimissionem; per devotam supplicationem et per sanguinis Christi effusionem.

Note that there are four kinds of human beings whose sins are forgiven:
1) Firstly, those who are repentant in their hearts;
2) Secondly, those who confess with their mouths;
3) Thirdly, those who satisfy in penance;
4) Fourthly, those who sincerely love God.

Note also four other ways by wich sins are forgiven, namely by real conversion to God; by abandonment of offences; by devout supplication and by shedding of the blood of Christ.
