Ideo hic de dilectione proximi tria (gratia Dei) declaremus salutis documenta: 1) Primum quomodo tenemur diligere nosmetipsos; 2) Secundum quomodo tenemur diligere proximos nostros; 3) Tertium quomodo obligamur diligere inimicos nostros.

So here we can illustrate (with God's grace) three useful teachings about the love of neighbour: 1) The first concerns how we are bound to love ourselves; 2) The second concerns how we are bound to love our neighbours; 3) The third concerns how we are obliged to love our enemies.
