Per iam dicta clarescit quod necessarium est esse fidem, et quam equus et dignus est modus credendi. Ideo ad tertiam contemplationem de fide oculos sublevemus, que est de fidei singularitate. Tres enim singularitates continet vera fides: • prima est unionis; • secunda determinationis; • tertia est obligationis. 
Propterea secundum has tres singularitates tria mysteria distinguamus: • primum de fidei unione; • secundum de fidei determinatione; • tertium de fidei obligatione. 

From what has been said it is clear that faith is necessary, and how correct and worthy the manner of believing is. Therefore, let us raise our eyes to the third consideration concerning faith, which is that of the singularity of faith. For true faith contains three forms of singularity: • first, that of unity; • second, that of determination; • third, that of obligation. 
Accordingly, in keeping with these three forms of singularity, let us distinguish three mysteries: • first, concerning the unity of faith; • second, concerning the determination of faith; • third, concerning the obligation of faith.
