In quo septima religiositas, que dicitur deformata, apertius demonstratur. Ut ergo talis tenebrosa cecitas expellatur, assumam figuram mysticam Iohannis evangeliste Apoca. XII, ubi ait: «Signum magnum apparuit in celo. Mulier amicta sole et luna sub pedibus eius et in capite eius corona stellarum XII», quod potest esse in presenti materia aliud thema. […] Sed heu hodie visum est aliud mirabilius signum, sicut scribitur in nova Apocalypsi, idest in revelatione experientie manifeste, c. VI, idest VI tempore ecclesie sancte, ubi utique scriptum est: «Signum magnum apparuit in celo. Mulier infardata colore et cauda sub pedibus eius et in capite eius corona stulticiarum XII». In quibus quidem veridicis verbis triplex mysterium per ordinem declaratur:     • primum mundane offensionis, ibi: «Signum magnum apparuit in celo», mulier infardata colore;     • secundum mundane abusionis, ibi: «et cauda sub pedibus eius»;     • tertium mundane confusionis, ibi: « et in capite eius corona stulticiarum XII»

In this the seventh form of religiosity – the deformed one – is more clearly shown. Therefore, in order to dispel such dark blindness, let us take up the mystical figure of John the Evangelist in Revelation 12, where he says: «A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars», which in the present matter may serve as another thematic verse. […] But alas, today a different and more wondrous sign has appeared, as is written in a “new Apocalypse”, that is, in the revelation of manifest experience, chapter 6, namely in the sixth age of the Holy Church, where it is written: «A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman adorned in color, with a tail beneath her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve follies». In these indeed truthful words a threefold mystery is set forth in order: • first, that of worldly offense, there: «A great sign appeared in heaven», namely the woman adorned in color;     • second, that of worldly abuse, there: «and a tail beneath her feet»;     • third, that of worldly confusion, there: «and on her head a crown of twelve follies».
